   A lot has been made of the Okonokos DVD, My Morning Jacket's live concert film, recorded at San Francisco's Fillmore Auditorium. The live performance DVD is so seductive and powerful because of the lush backdrop set and wonderfully immediate manner in which it was shot, as well as the music, yet the double-CD that accompanies it and the four-LP vinyl set on Badman Records seem to get scant 8/

   My Morning Jacket are well known for their brilliant live performances. Okonokos is a four disc box-set documenting one of the finest performances of the band's Fall US. The recordings are top notch, and this limited edition deluxe package features high-quality virgin vinyl, LP sleeves printed w/ lyrics and artwork in a closed-lid box, and /5(80).

   I'd never heard of My Morning Jacket until I came across an entry for their album "Z" in Rolling Stone magazine's list of the Greatest Albums of All Time. Curious, I checked out "Z" via YouTube and instantly felt the appeal of songs like "Wordless Chorus", "Knot Comes Loose" and "Dondante".Reviews:

   In fact, rather than getting bogged down in concert-album fashion, Okonokos plays spanking new, almost re-studio recorded.    Okonokos is a live album and concert film by the American band My Morning Jacket released on October 31, The album was recorded during the band's fall Z Tour, over two nights at The Fillmore in San Francisco, goyguniladimi.zricovorulschofaneminsitiscontlo.co is the first My Morning Jacket album for which frontman Jim James does not receive a production credit; he is credited for "concept/story".

   Z is the fourth studio album by psychedelic rock band My Morning goyguniladimi.zricovorulschofaneminsitiscontlo.co collection features a much spacier and more polished sound than previous releases, making heavy use of synthesizers throughout and incorporating reggae and dub influences. The heavy reverb that was a defining characteristic of the band's prior recordings is largely absent.
