May 26,  · Wagon Christ finds a new home on Ninja Tune for his sampledelic album, MUSIPAL, setting out the ground rules with "The Premise." "Bend Over" takes on a slightly mysterious tone, however, and "Tomach" and "Thick Stew" just wallow in the mellowness, the former with bounce and the latter with jazziness/5().

Musipal is good old-fashioned creepy-crawly saccharine-sweet fun. Oh, and if you like Musipal, you might want to pick up Om Records' Environments. It's not really the same type of music--Environments is more downtempo, and is considerably drier than Wagon Christ's frenetic abandon--but the two albums are spiritually very much akin. Check it out/5(27).

It's a nice album, though I remember being blown away by Tally Ho! when it came out, and slightly disappointed by Musipal in comparison. I like the Tomach track, really masterfully made, with zero time get bored, lots of smart transitions. Receiver is cool, loved /5().
